• It is a hanging iron lamp.
• The type is the same as that of Lamp Nos. 14 & 15. The difference is that instead of the iron strip, an unbroken continuous twisted iron rod is used.
• The lamp is developed recently and is approximately 100 to 110 years old.

Specialties:

• The wick holder is deep and pointed. It ensures oil filling till the topmost level, and not even a drop spills out. The wick holder has a beautifully hand-crafted strip attached to it. Therefore, these lamps are also called hand-made or hand-crafted lamps.
• The strip’s middle portion has a beautiful peacock. The strip is further raised and turned in a coil fashion. It forms a hanger that is a beautifully hand-worn braid. It helps to hang the lamp.
